Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid on Tuesday said the government has no plan of implementing the "auto promotion" system in schools.
The minister told reporters at the ministry's conference room.
“The students have to complete their examinations and they will go to the upper classes after results are out,” he said.
The recent political movements incited panic among students and guardians. The minister made clear the government’s stance on the examinations.
“We are concerned about the future of 4 crore students whose examinations are being hampered due to the political movements."
