A mobile court on Saturday sentenced two admission seekers to four months in jail for appearing proxy exam at the B unit entrance examinations at the Chittagong University. The convicts were identified as Shahidul Hossain and Mobinul Haque. Mohammed Samsuzzaman, assistant commissioner (land), who led the mobile court, said the duo were awarded four months of jail as the charge had been proved against them beyond doubt. Liton Mitra, an assistant proctor of the university told the Dhaka Tribune that the two candidates were challenged by the room invigilators as they filled in same roll number -13190 at OMR sheet.
Mohammed Samsuzzaman said the convicts confessed their guilty before the court.
