The appointment of Mishon Acharya, a graduate from Islamic University in Kushtia whose appointment was initially denied as a primary school assistant teacher for not owning permanent address, has finally been confirmed.
The information was shared through a social media post by Rashed Khan, a political assistant to the prime minister, after a meeting with the education minister A N M Ehsanul Hoque Milon on Sunday.
The Facebook post by Rashed Khan says that after a two-day visit in Chattogram and Cox's Bazar, Rashed met the education minister on Sunday along with the Mishon Acharya. The education minister discussed the matter with the authorities and confirmed Mishon’s appointment.
Rashed Khan expressed his gratitude to the education minister.
Mishon completed his bachelor’s and master’s degree from Islamic University in the Finance and Banking department. He later took the recruitment examination of assistant teachers into government primary schools. However, his appointment was initially denied by the authorities for a legal complication concerning his permanent address.
