Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman visited several SSC, Dakhil and equivalent examination centres in the capital on Thursday morning.
He inspected centres at Mirpur-10 Adarsh High School, Kazipara Siddique Fazil Madrasa and Shaheed Police Memorial College.
During the visit, he inquired about facilities available to candidates and any difficulties they were facing. He also prayed for their well-being and success in the examinations.
The Jamaat ameer urged centre officials to ensure a fair examination environment and called on the authorities to maintain uninterrupted power supply during the exam period.
Local party leaders, including Dhaka Metropolitan North Jamaat Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin, were present during the visit.
He also reviewed arrangements for guardians outside the centres, including seating and access to drinking water amid the ongoing heat, and spoke with parents about the overall situation.
