All students from 984 out of 30,088 secondary schools across the country passed this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations, according to results published on Thursday, while 134 schools recorded a 0% pass rate this year, up from 51 in the previous year.
Last year, the number of schools with a 100% pass rate was significantly higher at 2,968.
A total of 1,904,086 students appeared for the exams, including 952,389 girls and 951,697 boys.
Of them, 1,303,426 students passed—676,445 girls and 626,981 boys—with girls outperforming boys by a margin of 49,464.
