American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) participated in the prestigious “QS Higher Ed Summit: Asia Pacific 2024,” marking a significant milestone in collaborative innovation and growth in higher education across the Asia-Pacific region.
The summit, held in Macau from November 5 to 7, celebrated its 20th anniversary under the theme “Shifting landscapes, collaborative solutions: Pioneering innovation in Asia pacific higher education.”
The event drew over 2,000 distinguished participants, including university leaders, government officials, and educational innovators, who gathered to discuss the challenges and future directions of higher education.
Dulce Lamagna and Shania Abedin, members of AIUB’s board of trustees, contributed to these vital discussions and shared insights from Bangladesh’s higher education sector.
Following the summit, Shania Abedin represented AIUB at post-summit events at Lingnan University in Hong Kong, where various speakers presented keynote addresses and participated in panel discussions.
