The Rajshahi Board has achieved a pass rate of 81.24% in the 2024 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations, with more than double the number of students achieving GPA-5 compared to 2023.
Among the candidates, boys recorded a pass rate of 76%, while girls excelled at 87%.
A total of 24,902 students earned GPA-5, contributing to the overall success of the board.
During a press conference on Tuesday, Professor Dr Oliul Alam, chairman of the Rajshahi Education Board, shared this information.
He said that 35 colleges achieved a 100% pass rate, while 12 institutions reported that all students failed.
"Actions will be taken regarding those colleges where no students passed," he added.
Dr Alam emphasized that a total of 111,448 students passed with girls outperforming boys in the overall pass rates.
The HSC examinations began on June 30, with 139,193 candidates registered under the Rajshahi Board across eight districts.
Of these, 71,817 were boys and 65,367 were girls. 24,902 students achieved GPA-5, including 10,305 boys and 14,597 girls.
