Kushtia Islamic University (IU) proctor Prof Dr Shahadat Hossain Azad and student adviser Prof Dr Baki Billah have resigned.
They submitted their resignations to the university registrar on Saturday.
The acting registrar, HM Ali Hasan, confirmed the matter, noting that both cited personal reasons for their resignations.
On December 23, 2022, Azad was reappointed as the proctor for the second term, which was to last until January 28, 2024.
Later, Azad was given another year's appointment starting on January 29, 2024.
On March 30, Prof Dr Baki Billah was appointed as the student adviser for one year.
On August 8, the university’s vice chancellor Prof Shaikh Abdus Salam resigned.
