Quota movement: Thursday’s HSC exams postponed

The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations under all boards, scheduled for next Thursday, have been postponed.

The Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education informed this information in a press release on Tuesday.

The release said that the examinations have been postponed due to unavoidable reasons.

The new date of the postponed exams will be notified later.

However, the examination will will as usual from July 21 as per the pre-announced date.

Meanwhile, all secondary and higher secondary level educational institutions and polytechnic institutes under the Ministry of Education will remain closed till further orders.

The decision has been made taking into consideration the safety of school- and college-going students as clashes between Chhatra League and quota reform activists broke out across Bangladesh on Tuesday.
