The corruption of former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Benazir Ahmed and the murder of Jhenaidah-4 MP Anwarul Azim Anar, the two most discussed issues in recent times, have been featured in a question paper of the Sociology Department of Dhaka University.
The names came up in the examination of midterm question of the MSS first semester on Monday.
The question was made by Dr AI Mahbub Uddin Ahmed.
In one question, the students were asked to explain the recent changes in Bangladesh using the frameworks of Karl Marx, Sigmund Freud, Herbert Marquis and Harvey, citing the news of MP Anar's murder.
In the second question, it was asked to quote the news of Benazir Ahmed's corruption and explain the process of accumulation of wealth in Bangladesh by using the theories of Marx and Harvey.
Students have praised the matter on social media, terming it creative and a bold move.
