A seminar titled “Use of Construction Chemicals in Durable Concrete” was held in the Civil Engineering Department of Uttara University on Friday.
The seminar was held in the auditorium of the permanent campus of Uttara University (Plot-5, Dhaur Road, Turag, Uttara, Dhaka) in collaboration with ABC Construction Chemical Company Limited, said a press release.
The speakers in the seminar discussed concrete admixers, grouts, epoxy anchoring, bonding agents, rust prevention, heat proof coating, floor treatment, and water leakage treatment.
Professor Dr Mohammad Abdur Rashid, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Duet was present as the chief guest at the seminar.
Dr Nurul Alam Khan, Dean, School of Civil, Environment and Industrial Engineering, Uttara University, Mohammad Ali, Registrar (Acting) and Controller of Examinations (Acting), Uttara University, also several senior officials of ABC Construction Chemical Company Limited were present in the seminar.
The seminar was presided over by Md Ashraful Alam, Chairman (Acting), Department of Civil Engineering, Uttara University.
