Biman Bangladesh Airlines is going to operate three special flights on the Dhaka-Rajshahi-Dhaka route on May 29-31 to ease travel for students, and their parents, attending admission tests at Rajshahi University (RU).
The special flights will depart from Dhaka at 3:30pm, arrive in Rajshahi at 4:20pm, and then return to Dhaka, leaving Rajshahi at 4:45pm and arriving back in Dhaka at 5:35pm, reads a press release.
Tickets can be purchased through the airline's website, mobile apps, sales centres, call centre (01990997997) and authorized travel agencies.
When purchasing tickets on the Biman website (https://www.biman-airlines.com/) or mobile apps, the promo code NEWYEAR23 can be used for a 5% discount on airfare.
In addition to these special flights, Biman operates regular flights on the Dhaka-Rajshahi-Dhaka route four days a week.
Flights depart from Dhaka at 11:15am every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, arriving in Rajshahi and then departing back to Dhaka at 12:35pm.
Every Thursday, flights leave Dhaka at 1:15pm, aiming for Rajshahi and then returning to Dhaka, departing from Rajshahi at 2:35pm.

The Rajshahi University admission tests will begin on May 29 with entry test for the C (science group) unit.
The admission test for A (humanities group) and B (business group) units will take place on May 30 and 31, respectively.
