A total of 50 educational institutes have a 0% pass rate in the Higher Secondary School Certificate and its equivalent exams, according to the results published on Wednesday.
Only five institutions had a 0% pass rate for the HSC and equivalent exams in 2021.
A total of 9,139 educational institutes participated in the HSC and equivalent exams last year.
The HSC exam results were published on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina published the results at noon.
The average pass rate of last year's Higher Secondary School Certificate and its equivalent exams is 85.95%.
A total of 176,282 students got the highest Grade Point Average (GPA-5).
Girl students eclipsed boys in achieving the highest number of GPA-5s in the Higher Secondary School Certificate and equivalent examinations for 2022.
They also outshone boys in the pass rate, following the trend of recent years.
As per the results, 87.48% of girls and 84.53% of boys passed the examinations from all education boards.
The female students had a 2.95% higher pass rate than their male counterparts.
Of the girls, 95,721 achieved GPA-5s and a total of 80,561 boys secured the same grade point average.
HSC and equivalent exams were held from November 6 to December 13 last year.
A total of 1,203,407 students registered to sit for the exams. Of them, 622,769 were boys and 580,611 were girls.
