For the academic year 2022–2023, the MBBS admission test may take place on March 10 at government and private medical colleges.
The new information was revealed following a meeting on Sunday between the Medical Education and Family Welfare Division and the heads of medical colleges.
Prof Dr Md Sharfuddin Ahmed informed Dhaka Tribune following the conference: “The admission test was initially scheduled on March 10 following the release of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and comparable examination results.”
On February 8, the HSC exam results will be published.
The test will be held in the final week of April or after Eid-ul-Azha if it is not possible to schedule at that time.
The official stated that a second meeting with the minister of health will be held on Monday to determine the precise date.
