Results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations will be published on February 8.
Prof Tapan Kumar Sarker, chairman of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka, confirmed the matter on Sunday.
Earlier, a proposal was sent to the Ministry of Education to publish the results between February 7-9.
At that time, Tapan Kumar Sarker said boards are required to release the results within two months of the exam, so the due date was supposed to be February 11.
Traditionally, the results of both the secondary and higher secondary exams are officially announced by the prime minister.
The HSC and equivalent exams for the academic session 2021-2022 started on November 6 after a change in schedule due to the Covid-19 pandemic and floods.
More than 1.2 million students from nine general education boards, madrasa boards and technical education boards participated in the exams.
The number of subjects in the HSC exams was decreased and the syllabus was also curtailed.
