The SSC pass rate for the Dinajpur Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board is 81.16% which is the highest in the last seven years, according to the data obtained from the statistics of SSC exam results released by the Chairman of Dinajpur Education Board on Monday.
Statistics show that 1,76,846 students in 2,690 institutions across eight districts took part in the exam this time.
Among them, 1,41,682 students have come out successfully. Among them, 25,586 students got GPA 5, shows the data.
The pass rate is 81.16%.
Besides, no students passed in five institutions.
Thirty six students have been expelled in this year's examination. Students of 87 institutions have passed 100%.
The result has been noticeably worse during the past four years, according to information provided by the education board.
In 2021, 94.80% of students passed the board, up to 82.73% in 2020 and 84.10% in 2019.
However, this year's result in GPA-5 is the highest in the last seven years.
Students of the science department have comparatively done well this time.
The pass rate of science group students is 96.3%, the pass rate of humanities group students is 67.11% and the pass rate of the business group department is 85.75%.
