A total of 363 students participated in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations at eight centres established outside Bangladesh this year. Out of them, 348 students (95.87%) have passed.
Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni gave the information at a press briefing at the International Mother Language Institute in Dhaka on Monday afternoon.
The briefing said that among the educational institutions abroad, two institutions secured 100% pass rate.
The eight overseas centres are - Bangladesh International School in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh Embassy School in Riyadh, Bangladesh Community School in Tripoli, Bangladesh Mashoor-ul-Haque Memorial High School in Doha, Qatar, Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Bangladesh Islamia School in Dubai, Bangladesh Islamia School, and Bangladesh School in Manama, Bahrain and Bangladesh School in Oman.
The results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent exams results has been published on Monday.
Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni handed over the summarized results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The students can now check their scores at their school premises, on the website of Education Board website, and via text message services.
