Prof Dr HM Jahirul Haque appointed as ULAB VC

President Abdul Hamid, chancellor of University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh, appointed Prof Dr HM Jahirul Haque as vice chancellor on May 11. Dr Jahirul joined ULAB in 2004 as professor and head of the Computer Science and Engineering department. He served as director of Academic Affairs, dean of the School of Science and Engineering, and pro VC in his tenure at ULAB. Prior to joining the university, he was head of Computer Science and Engineering at Leading University in Sylhet. Dr Jahirul has a PhD from a top university in Ukraine, where he also started his teaching career.
