After the month long quest of bringing resolution to distinct social problems in society, the social awareness based idea generating competition Socio Camp X has come to an end.
The grand finale of the competition was celebrated with great grandeur on the premises of North South University on Saturday.
The grand prize - prize money worth Tk120,000 - was won spectacularly by the team "TgTgKpi." The 1st runner up is team "Crystal Ship" who won Tk70,000, while the 2nd runners up team "Captain Planet" won Tk40,000.
Chairman of North South University's Board of Trustees Mr Benajir Ahmed was present during the event as the chief guest, along with its vice chancellor and pro vice chancellor and other high corporate officials. They conducted the grand finale with their expert opinion and professional skills.
Socio Camp X started intensively with 588 teams competing for the grand prize, which eventually resulted in six qualifying teams who demonstrated their ingenuity by solving the last case of the event "Financial Inclusion towards Socio-Economic development."
The 10th season of this idea generating competition was organized by The North South University (NSU) Social Services Club to raise social awareness. It encourages university students to come up with their innovative and effective approach to help resolve some of the recurring societal issues.
