National University postpones exams due to Cyclone Fani

All the exams to be held on Saturday, at National University (NU), have been postponed due to Cyclone Fani.

A press release signed by the NU controller of examinations was issued, in this regard, on Friday.

The press release stated that for unavoidable reasons, all the exams scheduled for Saturday, May 4, 2019, have been postponed; and the new date will be announced very soon.

However, all the other exams will be held according to the earlier schedule, the NU press release added.

Previously, on Thursday, Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC), and its equivalent examinations, scheduled for Saturday were rescheduled for May 14 — also due to Cyclone Fani. 

The extremely severe cyclone made landfall in India’s Odisha around 9am and is expected to hit Bangladesh on Friday night.
