The undergraduate admission test of Dhaka University (DU) for 2018-2019 academic sessions has started.
The first admission test was the Business Studies faculty test under "Ga-Unit" (C unit), held from 10:00am to 11:00am at 54 exam centres, both in and outside the DU campus on Friday.
DU Vice-chancellor Professor Akhtaruzzaman along with VC (Administration) Prof Muhammad Samad, Coordinator of C unit admission test and Dean of Faculty of Business Studies Professor Shibli Rubaiyatul Islam and Treasure Prof Md Kamal Uddin, visited the exam venues.
DU VC while addressing the journalists said: “All the 54 centres are under security surveillance. Law enforcement agencies and our proctorial team are cautiously guarding the venues; we have also taken necessary steps against admission fraudulence.”
A total of 26,960 students have applied against 1,250 seats of C unit, this session, which means an average of 21.57 students are competing against each seat.
