Around 11.6 aspirants will vie for a seat in the first year BSC-Engineering and Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning courses in Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (Kuet) under 2015-16 academic year.
A total of 10,207 candidates were finally selected after scrutiny yesterday against 875 seats in 11 departments under BSC Engineering and BRUP courses, a press release said today, issued by Monoz Kumar Mazumder, Public Relation Officer of Kuet.
The online admission process for the first year BSC-Engineering and Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning courses in Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (Kuet) under 2015-16 academic year ended on October 14 this year.
A total of 10,224 admission seekers applied through online process in the entry test, he said. The final list of eligible admission seekers published after scrutiny today, he said adding that the entry test will held from 9.30am to 12.00pm on November 6, 2015 at Kuet campus.
Each 120 students will be admitted at four departments. The departments are Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering. Meanwhile, each 60 students will be admitted at six departments.
The departments are: Electronics and Communication Engineering, Industrial and Production Engineering, Leather Engineering, Textile Engineering, Building Engineering and Construction Management (BECM), and Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning.
A total of 30 students will be admitted at the Bio-Medical Engineering while five are reserve seats. The admission seekers are asked to visit (admission@kuet.ac.bd) or to communicate admission section of registrar office (PABX +880-41-769468- Extn: 138, 158, 189) for detailed information.
