A crude bomb exploded after being thrown at a private car in front of Sony Hall in the capital’s Mirpur-1 area on Sunday night.
The incident occurred around 8:30pm on Sunday. No casualties were reported.
Mirpur Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Hafizur Rahman said a crude bomb was hurled at the car and exploded in front of Sony Hall.
He added that the attack was reportedly carried out by individuals arriving on a motorcycle. Police are working to identify those involved.
