The body of Bangladeshi national Mosharraf Hossain, who was killed in an Iranian missile attack in the Al-Tuwaik area near the city of Al-Kharj in Saudi Arabia, has been repatriated to Bangladesh.
A Saudi Airlines flight (SV 806) carrying the body landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 10:50am on Friday.
The family of Mosharraf Hossain received the body at the airport in the presence of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Ariful Haque Chowdhury. State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaed Islam was also present.
Mosharraf Hossain hailed from Sakhipur in Tangail. He was the son of Md Surajat Ali of Kirtankhola village in the upazila. He was killed on March 8 in a missile attack on a residential building in Saudi Arabia. He was among three people who died in the attack, which took place just before iftar.
