Torch procession held against rape, violence against women

The Conscious Citizen Society organized a torch procession demanding the resignation of the home affairs adviser, holding the government accountable for its failure to curb the ongoing incidents of rape, violence, and killings of women in the country.

During a brief rally at the end of the procession, representatives of the Conscious Citizen Society said that the government has repeatedly failed to prevent violence against women.

They emphasized that criminals are becoming more reckless due to the lack of justice.

They urged the authorities to take effective measures to stop violence against women and children, warning that failure to do so would lead to more intense movements.

Representatives from various social organizations participated in the torch procession, demanding exemplary punishment for the perpetrators.
