On Monday night, police arrested two individuals, Md Mobarak Hossain, 25, and Robi Roy, 22, in connection with the attack. The following day, another suspect, Alfaz, 23, who was directly involved in the assault, was also apprehended.
The incident occurred around 9:30pm on Monday on Road No 9 in Sector 7 of Uttara, when a speeding motorcycle hit a rickshaw. Mehboob and Nasrin, who were on another motorcycle, protested against the reckless driving.
