One arrested from Geneva Camp in Mohammadpur

The Rapid Action (RAB) on Thursday arrested a prime suspect in six cases, including a murder case, from the Geneva Camp in Mohammadpur, Dhaka. 

The arrestee has been identified as Md Arman alias “Boma Arman”. 

RAB-2 Assistant Superintendent of Police Shihab Karim confirmed the arrest on Friday morning. 

He said on November 1, a clash broke out between two groups in Geneva Camp over drug sales and dominance. During the confrontation, bombs were thrown by the group led by Md Arman caused serious injuries to one Raj and 10-12 others on the street. 

Locals rushed the injured Raj to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Following this incident, Raj’s cousin filed a murder case at Mohammadpur police station.
