New officers-in-charge (OC) have been appointed to 13 police stations under the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
The appointments were made through two separate office orders issued by the DMP, the Media and Public Relations Division of the DMP confirmed on Thursday.
According to one office order, Md Taifur Rahman Mirza was appointed as the OC of Dakshinkhan police station, Md Nazrul Islam as the OC of Pallabi police station, Md Touhid Ahmed as the OC of Gulshan police station, Md Mazharul Islam as the OC of Vatara police station, Md Azharul Islam as the OC of Khilkhet police station, Golam Faruq as the OC of Ramna police station, Molla Md Khalid Hossain as the OC of Paltan police station, Md Saiful Islam as the OC of Badda police station, Ershad Ahmed as the OC of Airport police station, Md Monirul Islam as the OC of Mirpur model police station and Md Mobarak Hossain as the OC of Tejgaon police station.
In another order, Md Hafizur Rahman was made the OC of Uttara West police station and Mohammad Anwar Hossain the OC of Dhanmondi police station.
Earlier, on August 13, 18 OCs were transferred from various police stations in Dhaka.
Subsequently, on Sunday, an order was issued for the transfer of OCs from 32 police stations in Dhaka.
