A total of 186 people died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) over the past 23 days due to violence stemming from the quota reform movement, according to hospital administrative sources.
The casualties include 98 deaths between July 17 and July 27.
Additionally, one person died on July 29, another on July 31, and 86 more between August 3 and August 8.
Among these, one person died on August 3, 12 on August 4, 38 on August 5, and 20 more by the afternoon of August 6.
Ten people died on August 7, and the last five deaths were recorded on August 8.
