A man was killed and dozens of others, mostly students, were injured during clashes between police and private university students in the Badda and Rampura areas of Dhaka on Thursday.
The victim, identified as Dulal Matbor, a car driver by profession, was passing through the area when the incident occurred.
He was pronounced dead after being taken to a local hospital at around 12:30pm, according to media reports.
