A fire that broke out in a shoe warehouse near Nayabazar Jindabahar Park in Old Dhaka of the capital, was brought under control.
The fire broke out on the ground floor of a five-story building around 10:24pm.
Rashed Bin Khalid, duty office of the fire service control room, confirmed the matter.
Two units of fire service and civil defense worked to douse the fire. The fire was extinguished at 10:40pm.
Initially, the fire service official could not give any information about the cause of the fire and the casualties.
