A bus of Turag Paribahan was set on fire by miscreants at Dholaipar in Shyampur area of Dhaka early Wednesday, half an hour before the countrywide 24-hour rail, road and waterways blockade called by BNP.
Ershad Hossain, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence control room, said miscreants set fire to the bus at 5:30am and fled.
On information, a firefighting unit rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze.
