Adam Tamizi Haque returned to Bangladesh on Monday. He announced his arrival in a post on his verified Facebook page.

In September, he took to Facebook to announce that a state minister from Gazipur was attempting to seize his business, compelling him to return to Bangladesh from overseas to safeguard his enterprise.

He then conducted a series of Facebook Live sessions, during which he controversially burnt his passport and made disparaging remarks about women in leadership, the Awami League, and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

In response to his actions, he was swiftly relieved of his party position, and the Dhaka City North Awami League suspended him.

They also declared their intent to investigate the motives behind his perplexing Facebook Live broadcasts.
