Bus set on fire in Dhaka’s Tejgaon amid BNP blockade

Some unidentified individuals set a bus ablaze in Tejgaon, Dhaka, on Sunday night during a nationwide blockade initiated by the BNP and its allies.

Two firefighting units rushed to the spot upon receiving the information and brought the flames under control, according to Talha Bin Jashim of the fire service media cell.

“Some people set fire to a bus in the Nabisco area of Tejgaon at around 8:20pm. Two units of Tejgaon fire station reached the scene within two minutes of getting the information and brought the blaze under control,” he added.

No casualties had been reported, the fire service official said.
