The fire service recovered the body of a minor boy floating in Dhanmondi Lake in Dhaka on Saturday morning.
The age of the deceased was around 12.
Abdullah-Bin-Kashem, sub-inspector at Dhanmondi police station, said that the body was spotted in the lake near Dhanmodni Road 7 around 7am.
The body was recovered with the help of the fire service, he added.
The police suspect the boy drowned in the lake while taking a bath there.
They are trying to find out the identity of the boy, said the SI.
