Rail communication between Dhaka and the northern and southern districts of Bangladesh has been restored after two-hour disruption on Thursday night.
The rail communication between Dhaka and other districts was suspended after a Panchagarh-bound Drutajan Express has collided with a passenger bus of at the Malibagh level crossing area in Dhaka.

Later, train movement normalized around 11pm when the bus was removed from the rail track, Kamalapur Station Master Anwar Hossain confirmed.
Fire Service Media Officer Anwar Hossain Dolan said a bus of Sohag Paribahan was returning to Dhaka from Benapole in Jessore. The bus was empty as it dropped off the passengers in Malibagh and Mouchak areas.
