Police on Saturday surrounded a Banani hotel in the capital suspecting a militant hideout.
The residential hotel “North City” has been surrounded by members of the Banani police station since 9pm, reports Bangla Tribune.
Banani police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Noor-e-Azam said: "We have surrounded this hotel for about half an hour. We suspect there are militant members staying there.”
He also said that they were informed that militant members were staying at this hotel couple of days ago, hence a team of police went there on a drive on Saturday.
