Atiqul: Fishes to be cultivated in Dhaka lakes once pollution is prevented

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Atiqul Islam on Thursday said fishes will be cultivated in Gulshan, Banani and Baridhara lakes in the capital after preventing water pollution.

He was addressing as the chief guest at a fish-releasing ceremony at Kuril Lake in the city marking the concluding day of National Fisheries Week 2022.
