A pregnant woman died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital shortly after two men left her there and fled the area on Tuesday.
The woman had wounds on her head, Inspector Bacchu Mia, in-charge of (DMCH) police outpost, said
The police have yet to identify the woman, who was aged between 22 and 25.
The body was taken to the hospital morgue.
The inspector said he had informed Shahbagh police about the matter.
