The admission test results of Dhaka University's Faculty of Business Studies (C unit) in undergraduate program for the academic year 2022-23 have been published with a pass rate of 11.84%.
DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Mohammad Akhtaruzzaman published the results at 1pm on Thursday from the Abdul Motin Chowdhury virtual classroom.
The results can be viewed on www.admission.eis.du.ac.bd or via short message services (SMSs) sent from any mobile network operator.
The eligible students have been asked to fill in their choice forms between June 18 and July 6 on the admission website of DU.
A total of 4,526 students passed the examination this year.
The entrance examination of the Faculty of Business Studies took place on May 13.
For the first time, students of science, business and humanities took a combined test at DU.
For the business arts faculty, there were 38,235 applications for 1,050 seats, resulting in a competition of 39 students per seat.
Out of this, 95, 25 and 930 seats are allotted for science, humanities and commerce departments respectively.
According to information obtained from the central admissions office of the university, a total of 298,429 candidates applied for admission into the undergraduate program for the academic year 2022-23.
Accordingly, about 50 students vied for each of the 5,965 seats across the four units.
