Four members of a family suffered burn injuries as their car caught fire in a traffic jam in Dhaka's Shahjahanpur on Thursday night.
Masum Parvej, 42, his wife Sakina Akter Kajal, 38, their son Nafis Parvez Azan, 13, and daughter Jannatul Ferdous Esha, 10, were undergoing treatment at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, Resident Doctor SM Ayub Hossain said.
Shahjahanpur police station Sub-Inspector (SI) Rafikul Islam said the police had learnt that a leak in the gas cylinder installed in the car might have caused the fire.
