10 injured in clash between Dhaka College Chhatra League factions

At least 10 people, including a journalist, have been injured in a clash between two groups of Chhatra League at Dhaka College in the capital.

The clash started between the North and South blocks of the college on Saturday around 9:30pm and lasted till 10:30pm, reports Bangla Tribune.

According to college sources, a student named Al Amin of South Block of Dhaka College was beaten by some students of North Block inside the campus at 8:30pm.

Later, a deadly clash erupted between two groups of the Chhatra League.

Dhaka College Prof Md Yusuf said that there was a clash between two blocks in the college at night. Later, the situation was brought under control.

“I will go to the college tomorrow (Sunday) morning and look into the matter. Action will be taken after a thorough investigation in this regard,” he added.
