A fire broke out at a building in Dhaka’s Lalbagh area early on Thursday.
According to the Fire Service and Civil Defence, the fire broke out on the fourth floor of the six-storey building adjacent to Tajmahal Tower around 6am.
Being informed, five firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control in an hour.
Fortunately, there were no casualties.
"A probe is on to ascertain the exact cause of the fire," an official said.
