Five people sustained burn injuries in a fire suspected to have been caused by a gas cylinder blast at a shop in Rampura area of Dhaka early on Thursday.
Helal Uddin Sheikh, 50, suffered 85% burns, Siddik, 50, 54% burns, Nader, 50, 43% burns, Nur Nabi, 51, 42% burns and Yusuf, 49, 12% burns, according to Inspector Md Bacchu Mia of DMCH police outpost.
The five are currently undergoing treatment at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.
