A fire broke out at a jhoot godown at Diyabari Beribadh area in Mirpur on Sunday afternoon.
Fire Service headquarters duty officer Mizanur Rahman confirmed the matter and said the fire broke out at the godown around 3pm.
Six firefighting units were sent to the location who have doused the fire around 5pm.
The cause of the fire is yet to be known.
No casualty has been reported so far.
