A fire broke out in the emergency department on the fourth floor of Dhaka Medical College Hospital’s (DMCH) old building around 1:48pm on Thursday.

Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters’ duty officer Ershad Hossain and operator Mohammad Anisur Rahman confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune.
