The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has removed around 150 illegal vendors and street hawkers occupying roads and footpaths in Farmgate.
Parsia Sultana Priyanka, an executive magistrate of the DNCC, led the eviction drive on Tuesday.
During the drive, three vendors were fined Tk23,000 for illegally occupying sidewalks and roads of the capital's Farmgate area.
