CAAB allows Singapore Airlines to resume flights with Dhaka

The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) has permitted Singapore Airlines to resume regular flight operations to and from Dhaka from October 20.

Rifat Kader, head of sales and marketing of Singapore Airlines, confirmed the matter to Dhaka on Thursday.

On September 30, Singapore Airlines decided to reinstate two weekly flight operations on the Dhaka-Singapore route from October 20, after months of Covid-19 forced suspension.

Rifat said: “We have got CAAB’s permission and will operate two flights on Tuesday and Thursday -- every week -- from October 20.”
