A motorcycle has collided with a bus in the capital’s Jatrabari area, resulting in the death of the motorcyclist.
The accident took place around 10am on Wednesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Md Masud Hossain, 47, son of Delwar Hossain, a resident of Demra.
The driver was arrested in the incident and the bus was seized by the police.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Jatrabari Police Station Mazharul Islam confirmed the matter.
Nearby pedestrians rescued the injured Hossain and rushed him to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where the on-duty doctor declared him dead around 12pm.
