Turkish Airlines, the national flag carrier of Turkey, has decided to increase its flights on the Dhaka-Istanbul-Dhaka route from August 19.
Turkish Airlines Marketing Manager A Sattar Siddique confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune on Tuesday.
The airline scheduled four flights per week on the Dhaka-Istanbul-Dhaka route, up from three flights per week.
Turkish Airlines flight TK-712 will leave Istanbul for Dhaka on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday every week, while the flight TK-713 will leave Dhaka for Istanbul on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday every week.
It resumed its flights to Dhaka from July 17 after a long hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, starting March 22.
Turkey opened its borders to tourists from all countries under normal travel regulations from June 12, allowing passengers of all nationalities who meet Turkish immigration rules to enter the country.
